The name

In Yoruba, àlejò means guest. We named the business after the people who come, because a family event is remembered by how its guests were received.

A typical Nigerian celebration is generous by nature, and often hard to manage: hundreds of guests, several branches of family, friends of friends, and aso-ebi to sort out. We bring order to that without losing any of the warmth. Every guest is expected, every seat has a reason, and the family never has to stand at the gate.

Big, small, or somewhere in between, we plan for every size. Whether it's an intimate proposal dinner, an end-of-year party for your team, or a wedding that feels like a carnival, we've got you and everything you need.

We currently work across Lagos and Ibadan, and travel for the right celebration.

I bring that same structure and care to your celebration: a clear plan, calm communication with your family and vendors, and a warm welcome for every guest.

The Guest List

Guest management and access passes. A guest list you can trust, and a gate that runs itself.

  • One pass per guest, digital or printed, each with its own QR code
  • Seating by who invited whom: siblings, colleagues, friends of the family
  • Invitations that suit your guests: WhatsApp, text message, email or printed card
  • A printed list at the door for anyone without a phone

From ₦150,000 · up to 150 guests, then ₦500 per extra guest

Add The Door: our check-in team on the day, welcoming every guest and checking each pass once. ₦75,000 for 2 people, then ₦30,000 per extra person.

    On the day, our team welcomes every guest by name and keeps the programme on time.

Questions

Good to know.

How far ahead should I book?

For full coordination, 8 to 12 weeks before your event is ideal. For guest management, websites or aso-ebi, 3 to 4 weeks is usually enough. December fills up quickly, so book earlier for end-of-year dates. Bookings made less than two weeks before the event carry a 20% rush fee.

Is there a discount for booking more than one service?

Yes. Book three or more services together and you get 10% off the total.

What deposit do you take?

Payment comes in three stages. A 10% holding fee reserves time with us while you finalise your plans, but it doesn't confirm your date. A 50% deposit confirms your date. The balance is due two weeks before the event. Your holding fee counts towards the total, and you'll receive a written quote and agreement before paying anything.

Do you travel?

Yes. For events outside our base area, transport is added to your quote. If your celebration needs us on site for more than a day, accommodation is added too. Everything is listed clearly before you confirm.

What if some guests aren't comfortable with technology?

No one is left out. Guests can receive printed passes and invitations by text, email or card, and there is always a printed guest list at the door.

Can I use my own caterer or decorator?

Of course. We coordinate with the vendors you already have, or recommend people we trust if you need them.

Can I plan it myself?

Absolutely. Our planning templates are the same trackers we use for budgets, guest lists, aso-ebi and running orders, ready for Excel or Google Sheets.

Do you plan small events?

Yes. We plan intimate dinners and proposals as carefully as large weddings and burials. Prices start low for smaller guest lists.

What if I need to cancel or change the date?

We'll always try to move your date first. If you cancel more than three weeks before the event, we refund everything except the 10% holding fee. Closer to the date, payments are usually non-refundable. But life happens: in serious circumstances, such as a bereavement or a called-off engagement, we refund any money not yet spent, even days before the event. See our refund and cancellation policy.
